The holidays are coming and we need to be prepared not just with a clean house or decorated dinner tables and rooms or extensive shopping lists to host our families and friends. But first, ladies, let’s think about ourselves! Beauty salons visits can help and fix you up cosmetically. How about strong nails, soft plump skin, shiny hair, smooth feet (much needed if you plan a beach vacation), long eyelashes and possibly some weight loss in one month? Naturally! We can enhance our natural beauty, just a little effort needed. The results will boost your-self confidence no matter if you are going to rock sand beaches or dance clubs during upcoming vacation, or get married, or just simply want to impress someone special ;).
If you have been busy and either finances or time is an issue, follow these 10 beauty tips to learn how to be more attractive in a short period of time.
1 – Take 1 table spoon of flaxseed meal in the morning on empty stomach.
Take it with a glass of warm water with lemon. You can eat 30 min after.
Taking flaxseed this particular way will help to clean your body from toxins. The skin will greatly benefit from it, being more smooth and even in tone. The flax seeds Omega 3s strengthen the hair and nails. Plus it should help to loose some weight.
NOTE: Do not take flax seeds if you have stones.
2. Try to eat boiled or roasted beets every day.
Beets are a unique source of blood cleanse. Cleaning the blood is very important in our beautifying process. The skin and our inside organs will say “thank you” for that. You can add them into salads. Or at least buy beet powder to add into your smoothes.
3. Apply a combination of vitamin E and glycerin on your face every day 1 hour before bed.
Glycerin helps to reduce inflammation and good for oily skin and acne. It’s very gentle on sensitive skin as well. Vitamin E oil contains alpha-tocopherols which protect against free radicals. It has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties.
It’s easy to make your face glow by mixing 1 tea spoon of glycerin and 3-4 capsules of vitamin E.
It’s a pretty nice wrinkle reducer, redness eliminator, acne fighter, tone evener on a budget!
Here is trick though to make it work right: before applying the mix on your face, clean the face and massage it with a soft face brush to make it a little bit red. When your face is a little red, the blood cells are activated and ready to take your vitamin E mask in full force with real effect.
4. Eat a handful of raw (organic preferably) nuts every day.
The keywords “every day” – so you can hear how your hair and nails say “thank you” in several weeks :).
5. Do mustard hair masks twice a week.
Enhance and grow your hair so in a month you won’t recognize them :).
Use this mustard powder hair mask twice a week for one month. Mix together, apply on damp hair and keep for 30 min then wash with mild shampoo:
- 2 Tbsp of mustard powder
- 3-4 Tbsp of warm water
- 1 Tbsp of wheatgerm oil or olive oil (as alternative)
- 1 egg yolk (optional, for better results)
6. Rinse your hair with peppermint water.
After washing and conditioning your hair just rinse it with a gallon pitcher/container of peppermint water. Use regular water and 5 drops of pure peppermint oil.
7. Use regular unsalted butter or shea butter for your feet.
Get yourself a pair or two of cotton socks to put on your feet before bedtime and sleep in them after rubbing regular butter or shea butter into your feet. Add several drops of peppermint oil into the butter!
Your friends will be jealous about the way your feet look in a month.
8. Let’s not forget about eyelashes.
You will need an empty mascara container. Wash it thoroughly, dry and reuse for eyelashes enhancer fluid we are about to make:
- just add wheatgerm oil
Apply it just as mascara (with the same mascara cleaned brush) before bedtime on your lashes. It’s a natural and effective eyelash grower, just give it a month.
9. Scrub your body with salt and sour cream.
- 1 cup of sea salt
- 1 cup of regular sour cream
Mix together and apply after taking a shower and cleaning your body. Rub and massage it into your skin including your neck and wash it off with warm water.
The salt will disinfect and purify your skin, removing dead cells. The sour cream will moisturize and soften it. After regular use of this scrub (after each wash within a month) you should see huge improvements if you have had any pimples, spots, uneven skin tone and dry skin. Let your body glow!
10. Moisturize your skin after shower with amaranth oil.
Amaranth oil is the best plant based source of squalene. Squalene is found naturally in our skin. It is of the many natural lipids which our bodies produce to protect and lubricate the skin.
It helps to moisturize and prevent stretch marks, scars. Good for acne-prone skin. Use it on your face too.
Amaranth oil helps turn dull and tired-looking skin into a glowing, moisturised skin.
Do not forget to exercise several times per week and eat healthy!
